I'll be the first to admit I'm a follower of the
old "work hard, play hard" adage. I've
modified it slightly though in that I tend to work
harder in winter and play harder in summer. Summer,
in Wisconsin, is good. This last summer's goal was
to find air on my bike, rollerblades and wakeboard
while I was still young and able. What resulted
was a lot of pain and some good wipeouts, but it
was still fun. For pictures, follow the links below.

I'm a water child - water makes me
happy. I've always thought I would have been a great
surfer, but living most of my life in the midwest
has squashed that dream. Instead I've taken up sailing,
skiing, scuba diving and wakeboarding, (among other
water sports) which seems to be sufficient at least
until I buy my mansion north of San Diego on a cliff
overlooking the Pacific...

Considering you can only be in the
water for 5 months of the year in Wisconsin I had
to find something else to do, so I'm attempting
to redecorate my house. My first endeavor was to
build all my living room furniture, which is complete
except for the staining. Phase II consisted of changing
my all-blue guest room into a home office, complete
with hardwood floors and fun furniture. Now I'm
going to tackle the kitchen with it's hideous yellow/gray
vinyl and matching yellow gray wallpaper. Be gone.

When I'm not in the water or woodshop
or, god forbid, working, I like to spend my free
time hiking, biking, rollerblading, shopping, traveling,
putzing around the house, exercising and reading,
much like the rest of the world. Pretty exciting
stuff.
