Due to my back injury a year and a half ago I didn’t get out wakeboarding (or running, or anything) last summer so I was pretty excited to get back on the water this summer. I called my parents in June to borrow the boat and was told it was sold the day before because no one used it last year. sigh. That’s all I’m going to say about that. At any rate, boat rides have been few and far between this summer and unfortunately always accompanied by choppy waters and not enough time. Until this morning. Granted it was 48° when I got up, but by the time we got down to the Rock River near Janesville it was a balmy 59° and we had the river pretty much to ourselves. It was windy, but the Rock is sheltered and the curves were glass, as always. The only thing missing was a little more camera juice, but I did manage to get several pics of JeffO before it conked out. Serious big air.
