I’ve been messing with Flickr, as I’ve been informed that anyone who is anyone has been using it for some time now. I thought it might be a nice way to show a Cancun slideshow, we’ll see. In the meantime you get to see the same tulip photos from yesterday.

Tulip season!

Spring is springing up all over the place and none too soon. After work I made my annual voyage over to Topping Road, armed with my new camera. While my wide shots of the yard were similar in quality (or lack thereof) to last year’s photos, I was pleasantly surprised with the close-up shots. 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 Then again, with a good camera and a beautiful garden (or even dying tulips on a kitchen table) it’s hard to go wrong. More kudos to Fujifilm.

Ever bought anything from DSW? You might find this worth reading. In a nutshell, transaction information from 1.4 million credit cards and 96,000 customer checks from 108 DSW stores was obtained and presumably sold. Including the one a mile from my house.

We’re back from Mexico, relaxed, tanned and happy. Although a bit itchy. Photos and narration forthcoming but for now here’s an interesting article about a guy who tried to pay for a radio/CD player with $2 bills at Best Buy and wound up in jail. Having taken it upon myself to recirculate the $2 in Madison over the last 15 years (with limited success), and having encountered less-than-bright Best Buy employees before, I can empathize. Credit Schultz for forwarding me the article.
