Nothing tops off a great vacation like knowing you paid less for your seat then everyone else on the plane. Below are the sites and resources I use regularly to find good fares:

TravelZoo - This Week's 20 Top Travel Deals on the Internet.

OneTravel - If you sign up, this site will send you the best prices on flights from your selected cities weekly.

Priceline - Great for hotels and gasoline as well as flights! My last booking was from Milwaukee, WI to Portland, OR for $185, round trip.

Hotwire - Good for last-minute airfares, but an annoying interface... it doesn't always take you where you want to go.

Karp's Travel - If you can get past the fact that Barry is usually talking on the phone to three people at once, you'll be rewarded. Located in his house in Milwaukee, Barry's at 800.864.2999.

And of course there are the usuals - Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia and Travel, among a zillion others.
