Memorial Day weekend is customarily crappy in Madison, so when JeffO invited the fam to join him in San Francisco for 2004 we all signed up. As did a few of our friends. Present were: Mom, Dad, Jen, Jeff, Jack, Tony, Amy, Sean and myself. We arrived Friday evening in time to check out the bar where Pat works (conveniently next door to Jeff's apartment) before calling it a night. Saturday we had great time boating and wakeboarding but then had a really not-great time fighting the waves and tide to get back to the marina. That night Jeff surprised us all with a limo tour of the city—San Fran is gorgeous by day but even better by night. Sunday was family day, with great food, trips to multiple gardens and a relaxed pizza dinner while watching an unrelaxing documentary about the crash of flight 282. Monday took us to Sonoma for wine tasting at four vineyards and a nice picnic lunch at our last stop, Benziger.

I've lost track of who took which photo, but it's safe to assume all photos were taken by the Olsen family or Tony.

Toward the end of the night we went over to Treasure Island to see the view of the Bay Bridge. As soon as we stepped out of the limo fireworks started going off. That was nice of them.

Sean bet Jeff $1 that he couldn't drink an entire gallon of water on the way home from the vineyards. Jeff won and was sick the rest of the day. Check out the face bloat.
